THE UNEXPECTED DOI'S SOMETIMES HAPPEN
A Ietter from Mrs. E. S. Gardner, of New York, bears out this statement.
Mrs. Gardner is a button collector, and she mentions that she lives on a
farm in a house that is quite old. Her husband has been remodeling their
home, and on the 22nd, of October while engaged in this occupation, dis-
covered an old button mold under the floor boards! When she wrote. the
operation was not concluded and she had hopes of also finding an old box
of buttons.
