Putting together a sLtmmat v means bringing out your very best buttons.
Eleanor Elliott oflllinois not onb) put out her best buttons, but her selective
jttdgment of a great variety of materials enabled her to win the Tender Buttons
Award at Madison. From the en cliche at the top right to the large lacy glass
leaf at the bottom left and all buttons in between showed real talent in
selecting the right subjects and materials for this award. It was entered under
Div. I, Sec. 16, Cl. 317, Medium/Large, Summary, No. 18th Century. Label
