"WHERE THE WEST BEGINS"
Just down the road from the glass skyscrapers and cosmopolitan attitude of
sophisticated Dallas, the legendary Old West is alive and well in neighboring Fort
Worth. This nostalgia-filled tour will help the guests capture the spirit of the Old West
and relive the days of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, as well as appreciate
modern Fort Worth's strong dedication to the arts.
The guests will travel to "Cowtown" aboard luxury motor coaches, and
KALEIDOSCOPE guides will tell delightful anecdotes about the history of the area
during the short trip. The first stop on the program will be the historic North Side and
Stockyards area, once a favorite hangout for notorious outlaws and now the home of
charming shops and galleries. Here the guests will mosey down wooden sidewalks,
shoot the breeze with real cowboys and browse through western stores full of
handmade items.
A delicious Tex-Mex lunch will be served at world-famous Joe T. Garcia's, before
turning the focus to Fort Worth's beautiful cultural side. During the afternoon portion
of the program, the guests will visit the magnificent Amon Carter Museum and
Kimbell Art Museum. with an emphasis on American Art, the Amon Carter offers the
guests an opportunity to see original masterpieces of Frederick Remington and
Charles Russell. The Kimbell, one of the Southwest's true treasures presents classic
masterpieces from around the world.

"A DATE WITH DALLAS'
A perfect beginning to a Dallas visit, this invaluable, get-acquainted tour will do
much more than just show the sights of the city; the program will enable the guests to
truly discover Dallas as the city with a unique, can-do spirit.
Uniformed KALEIDoScoPE guides will greet the guests at the sheraton park
Central and take them aboard chartered motor coaches on an overview of all the
landmarks, fascinating architecture and points of interest. The guests will see the
Kennedy Memorial and assassination site as well as City Hall, Farmer's Market, the
Arts District, Thanks-Giving Square and the Reunion project. Professional
KALEIDOSCOPE guides will interpret the wealth of information, civic pride and
historical significance that is necessary to fully understand the Dallas spirit.
As a highlight of the morning program, the guests will drive down Swiss Avenue, a
treeJined boulevard that was the city's first exclusive address. There they will see the
lovingly restored homes that once belonged to Dallas'early civic leaders. Before
stopping for lunch at the quaint S&S Restaurant, the guests will drive through the
beautiful streets of Highland Park, one of the city's most prestigious neighborhoods.
