Any button o.f whatever nruterial, f)pe or constructbn which dkplalts the word "Paris"
on the back is a "Paris Back". One of'the most c'ommon is "T.W.&W. Paris" (Trenton,
II/eldon, & Vl/eil, 1814-1864). There exists multiple versions of this backmark, as well
as another popular mant(itcturer "A.P. & Cie. Paris" (Albert Parent & Co. 1886-
1939 which closed when the owners joined WWII, then re-opened in 1946 cunently
existing under the name ETS Parent et Corona 5&7 Rue Moret 7501l, Paris)
