42 NATIONAL BUTTON BUI,LETIN
(Folk Dancers). They were modern novelty buttons and very colorful.
Elaine took these to her heart immediately and then began our hunt for
more and for information. On inquiry I found these to be "set" items and

other colors in the Lady's Travel Set but, to this day, we have not seen the
Folk Dancers in any other color but white with colored trim. They repre-
sent a Holland Dance, Sailor's Hornpipe, Highland Fling' Apache Dance,
Swiss Dance and the Tango. In my button box I found the "Statue of Lib-
erty on starred circle" which I had purchased to put on Elaine's flrst navy
blue coat. Looking further, I found tulips and roses in lovely shades.
Others came to light on dresses which were ready to be discarded.
