The World of Buttons Presentation
The World of Buttons, a PowerPoint presentation, is available to all members and clubs for use. It’s geared towards those not yet collecting as well as beginner collectors in a visually rich format that’s full of historical nuggets. Its appeal extends to anyone interested in history, art, fashion, and craft, and comes with full speaker notes. It’s also customizable to suit your needs.

Things to know:
- First, copy the PowerPoint file to your desktop and from there, use PowerPoint to make any edits to the presentation and/or notes you wish. Do not edit or alter the original file.
- It’s intended to run about 45 minutes, allow additional time for questions/discussion. Bring along some actual buttons for viewing.
- The closing few slides plug NBS. Be sure to modify/add so you’re plugging your state and local clubs.
- For those less familiar with PowerPoint, know that when you select VIEW from the top toolbar, you can select NOTES PAGE to see the written notes. To view as SLIDE SHOW, select that from the top toolbar and then select FROM BEGINNING. You might want to print the speaker notes first so you can read as you watch the slide show.
